- Camera with SpotMy straight to the phone on the camera
- Profoto Connect Pro on the camera
- Profoto B10X (and B10X Plus)
- Flat-base stands, sandbags if you are outside
Steps
Pick the spot with the client
Anywhere with a clean background and room for a group. Move it when the room moves.
Light on a flat base, sandbag outside
One light, one stand. Weight it if there is wind.
Sync and test
Connect Pro on camera, B10X on the stand, one test frame.
Work the room
Go to groups and invite them in. Pose, shoot, and let SpotMy get it to their phones.
What goes wrong
- Running a cable because a power outlet was right there.
- Staying put after the crowd moves. Move when the party moves.
