Our story
Bill Hamway started BoothBooth in Detroit in 2016 to give people portrait-quality photo booth photos.
In 2017 he bought Mammoth Booth, which Jesse David Green founded in 2012, merged the two, and rebranded the combined company Mammoth Party by the end of that year. Today it’s just Mammoth.
We found our niche in instant event portraits that make people feel good about how they look. The goal: people share their photos within five minutes, because they’re that excited about them.
We move at the speed of events: same-day edits, real-time delivery, because the momentum of a night has a shelf life.
When you hire us, we become part of your team. Our job is to make you look great in yours.
Today we’re a small core team plus a collective of experienced photographers and event crew, working with Fortune 500 marketing teams, agency producers, couples and party hosts.

Home base is 211 W Fort St, Suite 316, Detroit MI 48226. Most of our work is in Metro Detroit, Ann Arbor and northern Michigan.
