Make it your own.

Every experience starts with our standard setup. Three things turn it into yours, and one decides what guests take home.

The backdrop scene

Pick a scene from our collection: velvet, pure white, color.

Your own graphics

Overlays and frames designed for the night: a name, an age, a date, an inside joke.

See the overlay library

Your framing

Full body, three-quarter, waist up or headshot. Landscape for the big groups, portrait for the outfits.

Digital first, prints optional

Every photo lands on the guest’s phone in seconds, ready to share. Add prints and guests walk away with a 4×6 too.

Why it matters who you hire

The party happens once. We don’t miss it.

Here’s what hiring us looks like, and what you avoid.

We dress for your party.

Cocktail attire means cocktail attire. We look like guests who happen to be holding cameras, not a vendor in a branded polo.

Set up early, out of the way.

In the room before the first guest, tested and clean. No cables across the dance floor, no scrambling while people are arriving.

A host, if you want one.

On the host packages, someone whose whole job is keeping the booth fun and moving. Go self-serve and guests run it themselves, with our number a call or text away.

Photos match what you saw.

The quality on our site and our social is the standard we bring. Same lighting, same camera, same eye.

Still planning?

Vendors we trust.

Our Midwest venues and vendors directory is vendors we know and recommend, documented by us. Nobody can pay to be on it.

Common questions

How much space does a Portrait Booth need?

  • About 10 × 10 ft with a backdrop.
  • At least 8 ft of ceiling height.
  • Sharing kiosks take about 2 ft each.
  • Prints need a cocktail table with linen next to the booth.

Is there a minimum?

  • The Portrait Booth starts at 3 hours, self-serve, for $1,200 at corporate events, galas and parties. Weddings are priced for the whole wedding.
  • Roaming photos start at three hours.
  • A half day runs up to five hours.

Need something that doesn’t fit? We’re flexible and always figure out how to make it work.

Do you provide props?

No. Most rooms look better without them, and the portraits are the point.

How do guests get their own photos?

Depends on the setup. Most events run face match, so a guest's own portraits land on their phone without scrolling through anyone else's. Some corporate check-ins scan a conference badge instead, or a guest pre-registers and scans a QR when they step up. A few builds run straight off an iPad, with a host sending the photo by hand. The shared gallery, when there is one, is private by default either way — guests get their own frames first.
