Photo and video activations that get people talking.
Custom photo and video experiences, concepted with your marketing team, produced by our crew, delivered to every guest instantly. Not a photo booth. An experience.
Things we’ve built
Built, not templated.
Every one of these started as a brief nobody had a product for. This is the work we want more of.
Stop-motion slide
Guests slid, a rig fired a burst of frames, and a stop-motion clip was on their phone at the bottom. Bedrock Detroit, Monroe Street Midway, 2022.

Beam illusion mural + RADiCAL video activation
A printed 3D mural that puts guests on a beam over the Las Vegas skyline, and a motion-capture video piece for Media & Entertainment. Autodesk University 2023.
Wonder Dynamics Red Carpet video booth
Our video booth and capture app in front of Autodesk’s LED wall for the Media & Entertainment division, cut for the feed and posted from the floor. Autodesk University 2024.

Custom-built Scribble Booth
Built to order for Rocket Pro and run for two days next to three headshot studios at The Fillmore Detroit. RPX 2026.

My Chosen Family Portraits capture and delivery
The custom tech behind Rocket’s Pride weekend portrait activation: capture, instant delivery, and a line that kept moving. 2,899 sessions.

Boomerang booth and projection photo op
Four Portrait Booths, a custom boomerang booth, and portraits projected live onto the wall of the room. Rocket’s 40th, Huntington Place, 1,482 sessions in one night.

The AI Time Machine, twice for one client
A centennial look for Dykema’s 100th at Campus Martius, then a completely different one for their Automotive Legal Summit at M1 Concourse.

AI backgrounds
One plain scene, a dozen designed backgrounds, campaign-quality portraits in seconds. Solidcore’s Birmingham grand opening.
Case study
The Dream Party: Rocket at 40
Rocket turned forty in 2025 and threw The Dream Party: Huntington Place, the whole company in one building. Rock Events asked for a photo experience in every room, so we built six.
- Four Portrait Booths running at once, each with its own scene and its own host.
- A custom boomerang booth that turned the dance floor into short looping clips.
- A projection photo op that put guests’ portraits on the wall as they were taken.

Common questions
What’s the lead time?
- Four to six weeks for a fully concepted activation.
- Two weeks if we’re riffing on a format we have run before.
- A week for a Portrait Booth on its own, without custom design.
Can you match our existing campaign look?
That’s the point. We align to your campaign — color, lighting, typography, voice. If you have a brand guideline document, we design against it. If you don’t, we work from campaign creative you share.
Will guests engage with something this custom?
If the experience is well-designed, yes — guests engage because they actually want the output, not because we’re chasing them. A branded portrait worth posting beats a generic photo booth every time.
How does travel billing work?
Travel is quoted up front, on every quote. Each pricing card shows an average range so you can budget before talking to us.
Do you carry liability insurance?
Yes.
- $2M per occurrence and $4M aggregate in commercial general liability.
- Equipment coverage on top of that.
- The certificate goes out the same day you ask, with your venue’s certificate holder and additional insured wording.
Who owns the photos?
You can use them however you like: social, ads, print, press, forever, no extra fees. Mammoth keeps the copyright and you get a full license, and we keep the right to show our work.
