What we did

Our second Las Vegas Bowl with Owens Corning, after 2020, was the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl on December 29 and 30, 2021. Owens Corning hired us to photograph its guests’ weekend and turn it into a set of short videos, and three of us made the trip: Bill Hamway on photos and video, plus a producer and a videographer.

The weekend

It started at Owens Corning’s check-in in the hospitality lounge at Mandalay Bay, next to the House of Blues, where we photographed guests as they arrived. That night we covered the private concert at House of Blues. The next day we followed guests through Fan Fest and into Allegiant Stadium for the game. Owens Corning shipped a big stuffed Pink Panther to Vegas for the photos.

The videos

The edit became The Road to the LV Bowl: a three-minute cut of the whole event, a 60-second recap, and separate videos for the concert and for Fan Fest and game day. Owens Corning reviewed them on Box, and we finished them with its notes in January 2022.

We’ve been back every year since: 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
