Bill Hamway

Bill started BoothBooth in Detroit in 2016, bought Mammoth Booth in 2017, and rebranded the combined company as Mammoth Party at the end of that year. Today it is just Mammoth.

Before Mammoth, he designed software. He joined Quicken Loans (now Rocket Mortgage) in 2013, first in technical support and then as a user experience specialist, and moved to Rock Ventures, where he designed internal tools for Dan Gilbert’s Family of Companies. There he co-founded Sift, a people search that made finding anyone in a 17,000-person company as easy as a Google search, and ran product until 2016.

He kept designing products as Mammoth grew: helping Ambassador Software improve its user experience and launch features used by millions of people (2016 to 2017), and helping Onboard.io’s founding team shape, design and launch their software (2020 to 2021), which later joined Y Combinator.

He owned Flassh, a photo booth app for parties, weddings and photo booth companies, from 2019 to 2025, and has been building BrandStudio, software that helps event photographers and brands make the most of event media, since 2018.
