Bedrock Detroit
Monroe Street Midway
Monroe Street Midway is Bedrock Detroit’s winter playground downtown, and in November 2022 they asked for something nobody else had. We built a stop-motion slide: guests went down the slide, a rig fired a burst of frames on the way, and the result was a stop-motion clip on their phone before they reached the bottom of the stairs. It ran five nights across two weekends, November 11 through 20.
The same weekend we ran Santa photos in the Portrait Booth, and we came back on December 31 for the Midway’s New Year’s Eve party.
Outdoor, cold, crowded, and built from scratch. That is the kind of brief we like.
