Coca-Cola x McDonald’s at the Jerk x Jollof Afterparty
Doner booked us to run a photo booth with prints for Coca-Cola and McDonald’s at the Jerk x Jollof afterparty in Detroit on Sunday, August 17, 2025, after the Afro Nation concert. The booth was open from 10 PM to 2 AM, and Doner sent over McDonald’s photo border artwork and a Coca-Cola logo for the photos and prints.
It came together in five days. Doner reached out the Tuesday before. They had first thought about a selfie station, then chose a full photo booth with prints. On the day of the party, festival logistics moved the afterparty from the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre to The Magic Stick on Woodward. The timing stayed the same, and Doner asked us to bring a white backdrop as a backup while they tracked down the one used the night before.
Two hosts ran the booth, and the photos and GIFs went to Doner in a shared folder two days later.
