What it costs to get us there

Roughly what travel & expenses run by market, quoted up front.

Michigan road markets

A drive, not a flight.

We bill driving time and fuel, plus a hotel or Airbnb night for anything past a comfortable same-day round trip.

Midwest drives

Close enough to drive.

Chicago, Columbus, and Cincinnati are a day’s drive from Detroit, so we bring the kit in the truck instead of shipping it. You pay the drive, the fuel, and the nights.

National fly-to markets

We fly the crew to you.

Flights, hotels, and ground. Costs swing with the season: a premium conference week can mean $700/night hotels and $1,000 flights, while quieter dates drop to $200 and $400. The ranges below are honest averages.

Inside a travel quote

Your company pays all of these costs when it sends team members to an event. We’re the same. We’re not trying to nickel-and-dime you: these are the general costs of getting our team there, separate from the work itself.

  • Team travel daysFor each day someone flies or drives and doesn’t shoot.
  • DrivingDrive time and fuel when the crew drives to your event.
  • FlightsBooked early, once your date is locked.
  • Bags and shipping the kitDriving markets: it rides in the truck. Fly-to markets: shipped or checked.
  • LodgingA hotel or Airbnb we book ourselves, close to the venue. Not the conference hotel unless you want us there.
  • Airport parkingAt the airport we fly out of, for the days we are gone.
  • Rides on the groundLyft or Uber between the airport, where we stay and the venue, when we are not staying on site.
  • MealsFor each travel and event day away from home. It varies by city: Las Vegas costs more than Detroit.
