What do you recommend for a Halloween party?
A Portrait Booth with a host, plus a roaming photographer. The booth is where people go to be seen in the costume; the photographer gets the ones who never leave the dance floor.
How do you light costumes so they actually read?
Studio lighting at the booth, set for the scene, so a dark costume is not a dark shape. That is the difference between a Portrait Booth photo and a phone photo in a party room.
What are the usual add-ons?
A custom scene built around your theme, the top package with unlimited 4×6 prints, the Scribble Booth, and an extra host for a big line.
What does it cost?
The Portrait Booth comes three ways, each for 3 hours.
- Essential, self-serve, $1,200.
- With a host, $1,700. A host who works the line and poses every group.
- With a host and unlimited 4×6 prints, $2,200.
- Self-serve printing is a $300 flat add-on, up to 400 prints.
- Roaming Photos are $1,800 for three hours, $600 each hour after.
- The Scribble Booth is quoted per event.
How late can we book one?
October books up first. Ask about your date and we will tell you straight away whether it is open.
How do guests get their photos?
Instantly, on their phone. Nobody waits for a link the following week.
How does travel billing work?
Travel is quoted up front, on every quote. Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor have no travel fee. Further out, we show you the drive, the fuel and any hotel night before you sign.
Do you carry liability insurance?
Yes. Mammoth carries $2M per occurrence and $4M aggregate in commercial general liability, plus equipment coverage. We send a certificate of insurance with your venue’s certificate holder and additional insured wording the same day you ask.
